I am utterly disgusted by the staff of this platform that firmly take the side of Israel knowing full well the Israeli government is committing a genocide of the people of Palestine/Gaza. I will no longer be posting on this account anymore because of this. Being against the Israeli government doesn't make you anti-simetic, for Jews all over the world have actively condemned the actions of the Israeli government, so don't bother trying to use that excuse. The crimes against humanity they are committing against the people they've been occupying and colonizing for over 75 years is inexcusable and unforgiveable. Honestly kind of weird that there's a "peace for Israel" thing on this website's banner now but there's nothing about the conditions Palestinians are living in, how Israel has been bombing hospitals and then blaming Hamas for it when it was clearly them, how they've cut off fuel, electricity, food, water, and medicine to Gaza (where Palestinians are UNABLE to leave - this is considered under international law to be a war crime), how they're not letting humanitarian aid into Gaza, how Gaza has absolutely no bomb shelters, how almost half of Gaza's population is children (the average age is 18), how 45% of Gaza's population is unemployed and the average Gaza resident survives on less than $2 USD a day so they don't even have the fucking money to rebuild their homes after Israel bombs them, etc. Israel also doesn't allow refugees who had to leave Palestine due to the state of Israel's occupation to return home because it calls them a "security risk". you know i didnt think there'd be an exact point that'd make me wanna leave DA for good but but every day they will continue to surprise me... i did not expect DA siding with genocide to be the reason ill finally quit for good but alas, here we are.
